Here is the where the party initially enters from #19 on the map of the Temple of Eothas.
Shadows that can cause Dazed are frequent throughout this level.
There will be a couple of chests in this room. One of them will have a random weapon. The other chest has a trap that must be detected while in scouting mode. The chest will have an item from the "Gilded Vale - Temple of Eothas - Lower Floor West" section on the Random Drop List, as well as a random scroll or two, a random gem or two, and some coin.
There will be a few Shadows here, plus a couple of Shades. Shades are like Shadows, except they can use single-target projectile attacks that can cause Freeze damage at a distance. They leave behind Spirit Residues. There will also be a trapped sarcophagus in the room that has the Cloak of an Eothasian Priest.
There will be several more Shadows and Shades in this room. Turning the mechanical wheel here will drain the water from the pool at #5.
You will have to fight a Black Ooze and a couple of Lesser Black Oozes here. They are capable of melee attacks that cause extra corrosive damage, plus projectile attacks that cause corrosive damage at a distance. They'll leave behind Ooze Plasmas when killed. The pool here will be drained after turning the mechanical wheel at #4. That means you'll be able to get the Gleaming Silver Key that can be used to open the door at #12.
There will be a few more Shadows here. One container here has a Crumpled Note and an Eothasian Prayer. The other container will have a random scroll, some coins, and a few Lockpicks.
There will be a few Shadows and Phantoms to fight here. They'll leave behind Spirit Residues.
There will be a Black Ooze and a couple of Lesser Black Oozes to fight here. They will leave behind Ooze Plasmas when killed.
There will be a pack of Skuldrs here, led by two Skuldr Kings. They leave behind Skuldr Ears when killed.
The lever here can only be used after discovering it while in scouting mode. It will open the door at #12.
The door here can be opened either by using the hidden lever at #11, or using the Gleaming Silver Key from #5.
There is a hidden stash here that can only be discovered while in scouting mode. It will have a flail called Gaun's Share, and random potions or scrolls, and some coins.
The spirit of a Priest of Eothas will be here. You can use your Watcher abilities to communicate with it and learn the truth about what happened to all the Priests of Eothas in the Temple earlier. This is crucial to completing the Buried Secrets quest. You can then obtain the Dead Priests' Bones.
There will also be a few chests and barrels around here that will have various items. They include a Prybar, and random potions, scrolls and coins and the like.
