MORRIGAN'S QUEST
The Black Grimoire
I speak with Morrigan. She wants me to find a grimoire that Flemeth used to have, and suspects that it is somewhere in the Circle tower. The Black Grimoire is in fact in Irving's Chest on the second floor of the tower. I get it and gift it to Morrigan. She speaks to me again once I return to Camp, and thus begins the mission to kill Flemeth for Morrigan.
Flemeth the Shapeshifter
Flemeth takes on the form of a High Dragon, but she remains in a stationary position atop a shallow knoll. This can be a tough fight. She can breathe fire over a wide swath, spit fire towards a single point, kick backward or sweep her tail if anybody tries to get behind her, sweep her claws in front of her to hit multiple characters, knock characters down, or use grab attacks that can kill a party member outright.
I have Alistair be the only character who attacks her up close in order to minimize the danger to the other party members. I space Leliana and Wynne apart to minimize the chances of them getting hit by the same fire attack. They then fire away with their bow and staff respectively. Aldarion keeps a little to the side but at a safe distance. He fires away with his staff, but is ready to use Cone of Cold or Winter's Grasp should Flemeth use one of her massive damage attacks on Alistair (like I did early in the fight).
Suffice it to say, I show no hesitation in having Wynne use spells like Heal, Group Heal, or Lifeward on Alistair. I also don't bat an eyelash at using Health Poultices or Lyrium Potions when required. The party eventually manages to wear her down, with Alistair getting in the killing blow.
Flemeth's Grimoire
I loot Flemeth's corpse for her key. I then enter her hut and loot the chest for Flemeth's Grimoire, as well as the Robes of Possession (+5 magic, +12 defense, +8% spell resistance, -1 willpower, +20% cold damage). The latter item will be Morrigan's robe for the rest of the game.
Now I move on to the village of Haven.
