Here is Quarrel, who apparently doesn’t have much to say to anyone, at least not until the town has been liberated from a major threat (see below). Once that business has been concluded, pursuing a conversation with him convinces him to pack up for Crossroad Keep in search of the base of the legendary Warlock, Ammon Jerro. Once inside Crossroad Keep, Quarrel can be talked into joining your party as a Warlock.
Here is Jan Buckman, the Mayor’s son, and apparently learning magic from Tarmas, who has gone missing.
Here is Goodwife Aruna, who sells a number of recipes for the construction of weapons made from Alchemical Silver, as well as the following:
The Goodwife also has a quest for you, to recover her cloak from the Lizardfolk who accosted her. It is in the Dragon Caves. Bring it back to her for 1,000xp and the Gardener’s Spade.
The Goodwife also has another quest for you, but only once all of your party members reach at least 16th level. Sheydann Zinn has swayed Jan Buckman to join his cult in the nearby swamps. They can be found at #7 of the Sword Coast. If you destroy the Cult and convince Jan to return to West Harbor, come back to Aruna for 1,700xp and a the Gardener’s Gloves.
Here is the Mayor of West Harbor, Lazlo Buckman. His quest for you is to eliminate the threat of two nearby Black Dragons, who are lairing inside the Dragon Caves.
Here is where you’ll find Tarmas after West Harbor has been liberated from the Black Dragons, and if you’ve rescued him from the Dragon Caves. He will sell basically every +1 version of any weapon or armor in the game, as well as every weapon in the game that has a special base material (e.g. Adamantine, Mithral, Duskwood, etc.). A few notable items that he also has for sale include:
