Fisherman's Journal

I travel to the Sunken City by the World Map and arrive at #1 on the Lakeshore map. Wandering about is somebody named Fentomy, who hints that valuable information can be obtained from a nearby Fisherman's Journal.

The Journal itself is at #5 on the map, and hints that the Fisherman met an unfortunate fate once the sun fell.

Fire Beetle Mound

At #2 will be a Beetle Mound. Clicking on it will cause a lot of Fire Beetles to attack, but they're very easy to kill. The mound itself will have a Heal Potion, a scroll of Meteor Swarm, and Boots of the Sun Soul +4 (+4 dodge bonus to armor class, +2 dexterity).

Shadow Portal

Finding the way to the next area requires that there be no sunlight, so I first sleep for 8 hours when it becomes night.

At #4 I will get ambushed by a pair of Telthor Panthers and several Telthor Rats, but they're easily killed off. A nearby beached corpse can be looted for a Studded Leather Armor +4.

There is now a Shadow Portal at #6 which leads to the Nightshore.
