Here is the front door to the Inn, which leads back out to Gilded Vale.
Here is Pasca. Visiting an Inn provides several opportunities. You can rent rooms to rest up. Your options are:
Labrorer's Rest for 83cp - +1 Perception and +1 Mechanics that lasts for two rests.
Dyrwood's Pride for 113cp - +2 Resolve that lasts for two rests.
Common Room - No benefits but no cp required.
The basic room can be slept in for free, but won't offer any benefits on waking. Pricier rooms offer long-lasting bonuses to things like attributes and stamina. This is a good and free place to rest if you want to initiate the dream that is necessary for the Visions and Whispers quest, and gaining access to your Watcher abilities.
You can also create playable characters here, and switch NPCS in and out. You can also retrain any character in your party so that the character can (re)customize according to the talents and skills and spells you want. That is as long as you're willing to pay enough money for it, as the price increases with each level that a character obtains.
If you speak to Pasca about needing help, she'll provide the Late for Dinner task. The quest itself involves rescuing her Dwarven cook, Tenfrith, from bandits in the Valewooc. You'll get a moderate reputation gain with Gilded Vale if you speak to her, rescue Tenfrith, and then speak to her again. You'll gain a major reputation gain with Gilded Vale if you rescued Tenfrith without ever having previously spoken to her, and then speaking to her afterwards. A significant xp reward is provided in either instance.
Here you can find two Ales and Beers. Taking them will provoke Tenfrith and possibly Pasca into attacking unless a character's Mechanics skill is good enough to accomplish a thieving check.
Here you will find Tenfrith if you have rescued him. He will be grateful for his rescue, and reward the party with the recipe for Savory Pie.
Here you'll find Strom Brightblade and Selyna Vertivo, another couple of individuals whose souls you can read with your Watcher abilities.
Sweynur and his pals will wind up here after they depart the town mill as part of the Against the Grain task. If you end up killing them, they leave behind:
This chest contains items that require a successful Mechanics check to steal without provoking nearby locals into attacking the party. The loot includes:
One item from the "gilded vale - inn 2nd floor" section of the random drop list.
And here is the Black Hound that the inn is named after. You can actually have it become a pet for you if you speak to Pasca about the "Black Hound" first.
This door leads to a balcony overlooking Gilded Vale.
