Endless Paths - Level 11
Wall of Vines
I start off at #1 on the map of the 11th level. I go up the stairs at #2, which opens a pathway between the 11th level and the trap door at #4 in Caed Nua. I rest up to renew my +3 Intellect resting bonus and head back down.
I go east and battle numerous Sporelings, Adra Beetles and Menpwgras. I rest up (to renew the Accuracy vs. Primordials bonus for my hitters) and then grab the Camping Supplies from the dead adventurer at #3.
There will a wall of vines at #6 which can be useful if you want to cross it during a scripted interaction to avoid most of the other fights on this level. However, characters are likely to sustain at least one injury in the process. That, combined with my now being able to handle these fights easily enough, convinces me not to bother.
Cgadob's Hazel
At #8 will be three Dank Spores, surrounded by numerous Sporelings and Disease Puddings. I have Devil of Caroc lure the Sporelings and Puddings away from the Spores, so that I can safely slaughter them at a safe distance away from the Spores.
After that, I push Devil of Caroc ahead to keep the Spores' attention, as she's immune to their Charm and Dominate powers. Sagani and Grieving Mother shoot them down at a distance.
One of the Spores drops a Wand called Cgadob's Hazel, but I'll just sell it.
Ring of Thorns
At #9 will be a Giant Dank Spore, along with two more Dank Spores, surrounded by a few Swamp Lurkers and Menpwgras. Devil of Caroc disarms the two traps leading them to them, and then lures the Lurkers and Menpwgras away from the Spores so that the party can kill them off at a safe distance. I also have to kill the westernmost Spore with missile fire from behind Devil of Caroc to end the fight.
One of the Menpwgras leaves behind the Ring of Thorns. Devil of Caroc gets the ring for the rest of the game. The Dexterity bonus increases her Attack Speed with her axe. The defense bonuses are sugar on top.
*Evil* Zahua gets the Ring of Thorns in the evil party, and for the same reasons.
Vierina's Leaves
Now Devil of Caroc, Sagani and Grieving Mother work together to take out the Giant Dank Spore and the remaining Dank Spore.
The corpse at #10 has a Rapier called Vierina's Leaves. It's an interesting possibility for a Rogue, since there's the inherent Accuracy bonus for Rapiers plus the extra damage against Stunned or Prone foes that Rogues always aim for. However, I personally still prefer Rimecutter for the Critical Hits and the Attack Speed bonus that's stackable with the Durganized enhancement.
The stairs at #11 lead to the 12th Level of Endless Paths.
