You can make these gunpowder barrels explode (typically with a
firearm) to reveal a crypt on the other side.
A sarcophagus here has a Soulbound Dagger called Marux
Amanth, along with a few other random items.
The door here can be opened from the other (east) side by a lever next
to it.
You will have to fight a few Adra Constructs and an Engwithan Saint
here. The dead body in the room will have a Sigil of Nightmares Wardstone, which will come in handy here.
You will have to fight a LOT of undead here, many of whom crawl up
from the side of the cliff to the south.
Here you can fight another Engwithan Saint named Xakoras, who is an
undead Wizard and will spawn numerous undead to start combat.
You can fight several Adra Constructs here, along with a Menpwgra and
an Adra Ooze.
There will be a few undead and Adra Constructs gathered around a Sigil
of Nightmares here. You can either neutralize the effects of the Sigil
by using the Sigil of
Nightmares Wardstone from #17 beforehand, or draw the monsters forward to
avoid the Sigil and then destroy it at a distance.
These stairs lead to #24 on the map of the third level.
These stairs lead back up to the second level at #23.
The machine in this room intermittently shoots bolts of lightning that
cause the System Shock Injury (-2 Perception, -3 Shocking Armor Rating).
Send a character in to both avoid the lightning bolts, and then attack
and destroy the Essence Batteries at points marked as traps one by one to
permanently end any danger.
The Watcher can also read her soul to learn what befell the expedition,
and possibly the true intentions of the Vailian Trading Company towards
the Adra Pillar.
Activate the panel here to open the portal at #28.
This portal will open after activating the panel at #27. It leads to
The Adra Realm as part of The
Storms of Poko Kohara Quest.
