Engwithan Bracers

I start off at #1 on the map of the first level of the Engwithan Waystation.

I go to the room to the northwest, which has a LOT of Caltrop Traps. Mirke can find all of them. But I deliberately have Aloth step on one of them. The reason being that Aloth needs to have at least one Injury to take full advantage of an item that I have in mind for him. The Caltrop Trap inflicts a -25% penalty to Stride on him during combat. That strikes me as an Injury I can live with during a no Rest run. I have Mirke disarm the rest.

A hidden button at #3 opens the door at #4. I find the Engwithan Bracers at #5, which provide Resistance to Dexterity Afflictions. But I'll just sell them.

Siren and Wraith

Now I go east. There will be some Luminous Revenants and Scarab Beetles at #2, led by a Cean Gwla and a Wraith. The Wraith teleports Eder apart from the rest of the party, so part of the challenge is to cut a path to him quickly and allow the party to regroup before he gets overwhelmed.

Pallegina uses Rejoice My Comrades every 4 Phrases to immunize the party against the Frightened Affliction.

Aloth uses Grease on the Scarab Beetles to minimize their missile attacks. Alliria blasts them over and over again with Ninagauth's Shadowflame, as they have weak Armor Rating against Freezing Damage. Killing them off quickly allows the regrouping to take place, and I then overwhelm the monsters in routine fashion.

Mirke takes Enduring Dance on her 11th level-up. Her Dance of Death will now only expire after she gets hit three times. Combine that with her keeping her distance, and it usually ensures a steady and unending supply of Wounds.

Aloth takes Weapon Specialization on his 11th level-up. It will help him score some extra damage with his Mace.

Alliria has another vision of the doomed expedition at #6.

*Evil* Skeletal Champion and Sorcerer

The evil party takes out the group of undead and Scarab Beetles at #7.

Tekehu takes Greater Wildstrike Corrode. It increases the bonus Corrosive Damage from his Spiritshift form from 15% to 25%.

I go down the stairs at #8 to enter the second level of Engwithan Waystation.
