TALIA, F ELF ARCHMAGE
There's no priests or druids or such in this game series. Only arcane casters, although arcane casters can advance in several schools of magic as though they were character classes and learn the spells from each one. The original schools from the first game are Conjurer, Magician, Sorcerer and Wizard. The new school for the second game is Archmage. My recommendation is to learn all seven spell levels from all five schools. That means more levels advanced, and more Hit Points and Spell Points that are built up.
I also recommend having at least two spellcasters in your party. Talia will become a Chronomancer, which is necessary for the third game. My other spellcaster will remain with all of his old spells. The end result is that I have access to every spell in the game, and there will be no gaps in my spell arsenal.
Inventory
Weapon: Conjurstaff
Off-Hand: Wizwand
Helm: Lorehelm
Armor: Adamant Bracers
Misc. Item: Elf Cloak
Gloves: Leather Gloves
Boots: Elf Boots
A Conjurstaff cuts the Spell Point cost of spells in half, which can be a pretty big deal, especially for the really powerful spells like Mangar's Mind Mallet. That combined with a larger Spell Point pool means my spellcasters usually have enough and to spare through each dungeon run.
