A niche in his desk has a Ring of Overseeing, although trying to take it in view of him and his minions will provoke a fight.
These stairs lead to the Crookspur
Dungeon at #8. But you can't get past the Guard without turning
all of the Slavers hostile against you.
Note that if you come up from those stairs behind her, she'll raise the
alarm and turn all of the Crookspur Slavers hostile against you. So it
is best to avoid these stairs altogether if you're wanting to complete
Quests in ways that are favorable to Master Kua and Furrante.
