Starting with the alternatives means that the conservation dialogue
options to start the Quest won't appear when you speak to Lueva Alvari,
and that means not having the option to convince her to give you
1,000cp.
Completing The
Storms of Poko Kohara Quest also means fulfilling the requirements of this Quest as well. The Company would prefer that you complete The
Storms of Poko Kohara Quest in a way that involves restoring the Adra Pillar as a conduit of soul energy. But either restoring or destroying the Pillar will lead to completion of this Quest.
She will bring you to meet Director Castol at #4 on the map of the second floor of the Vailian
Trading Company Headquarters. You'll get about 1,000xp, a major gain of positive reputation with the Company, and 1,700cp if you had restored the Adra Pillar. The rewards will be the same if you destroyed the Pillar, with the exception that your reputation gain with the Company will be minor instead of major.
Director Castol will now also start the Dirty Laundry Quest.
