THE SHAPERATE
The Chant in the Deep
This video shows a fairly straightforward resolution of a quest. Brother Burkel wants to open a Chantry in Orzammar, but needs permission from the Shaperate first. The Shaperate itself is located at the far east end of the Diamond Quarter. I simply use a Persuasion check on Shaper Czibor to convince him to allow Brother Burkel's request.
Gloves of Diligence
Now I comb the Shaperate thoroughly for any books that provide xp and Codex Entries.
A chest at the back of the Shaperate has the Gloves of Diligence (+4 armor), which is part of the Diligence armor set, and The Search for the True Prophet, which can be gifted to Wynne.
Thief in the Shaperate
Now I speak with Shaper Assistant Milldrate, who relates that a Casteless Dwarf has stolen a tome from the Shaperate and has likely made off with it to Dust Town.
I then head over to Dust Town. Just a little east will be Shady Corebit. A fight naturally ensues, and I easily kill him. His corpse will have the Proving Receipt, which indicates that he pawned the tome off to somebody in the Proving Grounds.
I then head over to the Proving Grounds. On the north side will be some thugs. A fight ensues as soon as I click on their leader. I easily overwhelm them as well. The leader's corpse has the Tome that Milldrate wants back. I bring the Tome back to Milldrate in the Shaperate, but it turns out there's no reward at all for doing this.
Now I prepare to head over to the Deep Roads.
