Plainsrunner
Now I begin to do quests for Vadin'ya, who is in the Openpalm Bazaar in Samargol. Her first quest for me is to kill an enormous wild boar named Bala'lak, and bring back its tusks.
Bala'lak can be found north just across the bridge, and should be easy enough even for a beginning party. I give her the tusks for 700xp and 2,500gp.
11th Level
I'm getting pretty close to 55,000xp by now, so now I grind it out towards my 11th level of experience for all the party members.
Some of the fights included Will-O-Wisps, which I didn't include in the video. Nonetheless, I made a point of collecting their Glamers, both for an upcoming quest and for my crafting needs.
Wild Elves
I speak to Vadin'ya again, and she has another quest for me, to find a fiery axe for her bodyguard named Artiuk.
I make my way towards Taruin. A special encounter, Wild Elves, appear a little west of the road. I kill them with little trouble and am on my way again.
I trade a couple of Ores that I found from a Batiri random encounter with Taruin in order to get more trade bars.
Sister Horta
Soon enough another special encounter shows up on the Overland Map, Sister Horta. The most beneficial way to handle it is to Bluff, Diplomacy or Intimidate to talk her into leaving.
I continue travelling north along the road. I kill more Will-O-Wisps along the way, and collect their Glamers.
I eventually make my way to #13, which is the entrance to some mines.
Shadow Mines
The Mines will have several Shadows in them. I take the time to buff up, even as the odd Shadow may come forward to attack me. Bark Skins for almost everyone. Bear's Endurance, Bull's Strength, Greater Magic Fang and Flaming Weapon for Yushai.
Once everything's in place, that's when I go on the attack. Vandala, while in Hellfire mode, hits anything she can with Beshadowed Blast, which can blind the undead. A couple of them leave behind Shadow Dusts, but they don't figure into any crafting plans that I have so I'll just sell them.
A couple of crates in the mines will also have lower-tier gemstones.
Into the Mines
Now I make my way to the town of Torich, at #14 on the Overland Map. I get 100xp for the discovery.
Inside the Broken Pick Tavern will be Essien, who would appreciate somebody clearing out the nearby Mines of Selgol.
I make my way towards the Mines, which are at #26 on the Overland Map. I fight a pack of Ghouls, and a few Wyverns along the way.
Lens of Detection
I enter the Mines and start off at #1 on the map.
The cabinet at #1a has a Light Hammer +1, plus a few miscellaneous treasures.
At #2 will be a few Firenewts, but they're easy to kill off. Vandala's Hellrime Blast really comes in handy, since it inflicts extra cold damage on the Firenewts.
An armoire in the room holds a Lens of Detection (Detect Traps (3) 3 / day), plus a few other random treasures. I don't have any use for the Lens though, so I'll sell it.
Firenewts in the Mines
Places marked by #3 have groups of Firenewts at them. Same tactics will work on them as always.
The group towards the north is led by a Firenewt Alchemist, who doesn't really do anything besides throw the odd Alchemist's Fire that will inflict minor fire damage.
The group towards the southeast corner is led by a Firenewt Sorcerer. Umoja targets him specifically with his arrows. Vandala also singles him out for her Hellrime Blasts when she gets the chance.
At #4 is a Skeleton that has several spell scrolls.
Heavy Armory
At #5 will be Overlord Flamespar, a Firenewt Sorcerer, and many other Firenewts. The warriors in the party immediately engage them. Vandala carefully positions herself and starts pumping off Hellrime Blast / Eldritch Chains. Umoja carefully positions him up close and catches as many enemies as he can with a Call Lightning spell. The battle is soon won after that.

Overlord Flamespar
I give the Greataxe of Flame to Vadin'ya and Artiuk. My reward is 600xp and 3000gp.
Vadin'ya is now willing to sell her special wares to me. I bought:
First up, Janette opens up her Wondrous Items Recipe Book. 500gp and a Travelling Cloak is enough to create a Cloak of Resistance +1. Also, somebody in the party needs the Resistance cantrip. Gallard, Logan and Umoja each have one now.
A Copper Necklace, Treant Twigs, a Bloodstone, and 1,000gp are enough for another Amulet of Natural Armor +1. Also, somebody in the party needs a Bark Skin spell, which in this case happens to be Umoja. Janette wears it, and hands off her Sailor's Charm to Vandala, who in turn hands off her Snaketongue Amulet to Logan.
A Panther Pelt, a Drider Silk, and 3,000gp are enough for a Belt of Agility +2 (+2 Dexterity, Freedom of Movement). Somebody in the party needs a Cat's Grace spell. I had to briefly reconfigure one of Umoja's spells to get that. Vandala is some ways off from getting Imbue Item. Gallard gets the Belt as an interim item.
Next up is a quest involving a Batiri tribe known as the Shattered Spear.
