IRONFIST STRONGHOLD

Ironfist Stronghold

Khayar

I arrive at #1 on the Ironfist Stronghold map, and get welcomed by Khayar ... sorta. Note that Khelgar needs to be in the party for me to enter the Stronghold.

Revorax

I travel towards the southwest corner at #5. The room has plenty of chests and traps. The chests themselves have random items, but none of them capable of yielding a high value gem.

At #4 is a Dwarven merchant named Revorax. He sells plenty of magical armor, weapons, and crafting materials. There are two items that are particular interest to me.

One is the Lesser Golem Armor (Breastplate +5, immunity to ability / level drain, +4 Strength). This becomes Elanee's armor for the rest of the game. It is the only way for Elanee (other than a Death Ward spell) to keep immunity to ability / level draining while in Wild Shape form, as the benefits from an Amulet of Health or the Bone Ring will not transfer to her Wild Shape. The additional perk is that the +5 enhancement bonus and the +4 Strength bonus will also transfer to her Wild Shape, which will enhance her combat abilities even further when she turns into a (Greater) Elemental.

Another item is the Greater Storm Armor of the Earth's Children (Full Plate +7, +15 electrical resistance, +15 fire resistance, Dwarves or Gnomes or Halflings only). It will be Casavir's armor for the rest of the game. He can use his Use Magic Device skill to don the armor despite the racial restrictions. It doesn't get any better for a high Strength and low Dexterity warrior than to don a +7 Full Plate with elemental resistances to boot.

Keros

I make my way towards the leader of the Ironfist Clan, Keros, at #8. Two things become obvious. One, he hates Khelgar. Two, he won't join in an alliance with Neverwinter.

Khulmar

Khulmar speaks to Valeria and Khelgar as soon as they leave the room at #8. He explains that Khelgar will have to reunite all three artifacts of the Ironfist Clan, the Hammer, the Gauntlets, and the Belt, if he's to gain the allegiance of the Clan.

Khulmar then guides the party to the room at #9 to show them the Hammer of Ironfist. The party also gets a Ring of Major Fire Resistance (+30 fire resistance), but I don't really have any use for it.

Mount Galardrym now appears on the World Map.
